Championing Gender Equality & Women’s Empowerment
Gender equality is a vital accelerator to achieving sustainable development. We align our gender methodology with best practices that instigate a multiplier effect that impacts all areas of development. We approach gender equality through a mainstreaming framework by applying a gender lens to all our program designs.
Our signature behavior change and norms approaches are critical strategies that address the root causes of inequality. We combine normative change methods with media – both traditional (radio, TV) and internet (social media, websites, blogs, etc.) – that create an enabling environment for women and girls by spreading messages of gender equality in ways that reach people and change minds, attitudes, and behaviors.
We position women to lead through capacity building training and by fostering an environment of inclusion, ensuring that women and girls have a seat at the table in government and civic organizations, furthering their voices in peace and security discussions.
