As Senior Finance and Operations Officer, Friday Okee brings more than seven years of developmental finance and operations experience, supporting in finance, administration, human resources, relationships with agencies and partners.

Friday Okee holds a Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) and a member of the Chartered Institute of Human Resource Management and has more than seven years in finance and administrations in both the nonprofit and for-profit sectors.  

Friday has ably managed the implementation of multimillion-dollar projects funded by donors like USAID, DFID, US Department of State, US Embassy, the MacArthur Foundation and others.  

She leads the in-country finance and operations department and supports the coordination and management of the in-country’s project portfolio in finance, administration and compliance through the provision of technical support on cost application (budget) and administration of operations on implementations of projects and in country offices. Friday strategically leads human resource and  procurement procedures across country programs and liaises with statutory bodies and government agencies, oversees security for staff and participants in the office and field, and supports facility management and information technology. She also supports in the development, tracking, and achievement of current and long-term organization goals, objectives, policies, and procedures; and ensures that internal financial and administrative procedures are compatible with prevailing laws and best practices.
