Baba Diaby has over 15 years of professional working experience, and he holds two master’s degrees, one in Communications and the other in Spanish Language; both from Felix Houphouet Boigny University.
Baba Diaby has progressively responsible experience in political, civil, and project/program-related fields, including international-level analysis, advice, reporting, and coordination on conflict and post-conflict political affairs.
Prior to his current role as the Projects Coordinator and Head of Office within the Resilience for Peace Project, Baba was a Political Affairs Officer at the United Nations Mission in the Central African Republic (MINUSCA). He worked as a Program Development Officer in two programs funded by USAID through its Office of Transition Initiatives (OTI) in Cote d’Ivoire. These programs were implemented by AECOM International Development and Chemonics, respectively. Baba also served as a Public Information and Outreach Assistant at the United Nations Operation in Côte d’Ivoire (UNOCI), the Director of the Centre for the Promotion of Non-Violence and Democratic Culture (CNVD) in Cote d’Ivoire, and the Coordinator of the Ivorian Human Rights Actors Coalition (RAIDH), including the role of Director of publication of “L’APPEL,” the Analysis and Information Newsletter on human rights in Cote d’Ivoire.
