As Acting Program Manager, Andrea (Dillingham) Carleton has 4 years of experience managing projects in East Africa and Nigeria. Her focus is on preventing extremism, civilian security, climate change, and early response mechanisms, using a Social and Behavior Change Communications (SBCC) approach.

Andrea joined EAI in 2017 and served as Senior Manager of Executive Affairs and Board Liaison. She joined the Programs Team in 2020 and has since backstopped projects in Kenya, Tanzania, Somalia, Algeria, and Nigeria. She currently supports the compliance, financial, reporting, and technical aspects of the Nigeria portfolio, specializing in civilian security through Early Warning Early Response systems with a focus on trauma healing and resilience.
