Kyanu brings over four years of experience managing development projects in West Africa, working on programs ranging from supporting the electoral process to promoting youth leadership and positive masculinity.

As a Senior Program Officer, Kyanu Soulet brings over four years of experience managing development projects in West Africa. He currently supports the implementation of the Resilience for Peace (R4P) program in Cote d’Ivoire.

Prior to joining EAI, Kyanu worked at the National Democratic Institute on programs ranging from supporting the electoral process and mitigating and countering electoral mis- and disinformation in Senegal, to promoting youth leadership and freedom of religion and belief in Niger, and promoting positive masculinity and women’s leadership in political parties in Burkina Faso.

Kyanu holds a degree in International Studies and Political Science and has spent most of his life living in West Africa, Europe, and the Middle East before moving to Washington D.C.
